No US medalists but I'm more excited for Nationals than before this competition. These teams are all stepping it up, so the battle for second and third should be awesome.

Clear winners. I can't say I enjoyed that either, though. I'm not sure ice dance and I really gel - I enjoyed things up until the final 3 couples and they are the ones who I 'should' have liked best. The Brown's were my favourite.

A good tip is to NOT trying to 'understand' how Ice Dance 'works'. Find things you enjoy and never associate them to 'pecking order'. Believe me, too much emotional investment in this discipline is damaging, I'm the prime suspect

I actually loved that moment - it almost looked like Piper is asking for help to get out of the toxic relationship, and it works for their program.

I also think it's better than "Evita," but the "judge pose" was the one thing I didn't care for. Great skate though! I think this will be tough to beat as the season unfolds.

Wonderful program for Piper & Paul! Excellent interpretation of the doomed tragic love story of Wuthering Heights. They projected a feeling of intensity and unease while making beautiful and interesting shapes using the technical elements a vocabulary. Loved the placement of the twizzles especially and the reach out to the judges. Very much in the same vein as the Hitchcock by Laura Naki-Gutmann. Bravo! Definitely will be watched again and again.

Gilles and Poirier have a fantastic and contrasting combination of programs this season. I hope they continue to build momentum because I would like nothing more at Worlds than to see them win.

Their commitment to character, unique choreography, and innovation are what makes me tune in to watch this sport. And Piper's resilience and bravery are just brilliant.

I'm just baffled at how Piper and Paul's PCS score is so close to Lilah and Lewis' PCS score. On all three variables, Piper and Paul are superior.

if everyone and their little cousin didn't flirt with the judges, that moment would look great... I was a bit meh about it too and then realized how they did it... drama... it wasn't gimmicky and long and butt shaking.
