Rion represents a huge step up in terms of skating skills and choreographic commitment - right away, she has so much more speed, flow, and use of her knees and ankles. She's so good about deliberately building speed and making even every crossover look intentional. That step sequence had some really brilliant musical phrasing throughout. I'm so glad Rion has now become a consistent SP skater after so many disaster shorts last season.
