2024 Finlandia Trophy Women's Free Skate

Maybe, but Mai has already proven once that you shouldn't write her off too early :)
I agree with that. I wish it for her but I am projecting my Gabby Daleman vibe... Gabby has been trying to get back on top since 2018 or so... and it's just not working out for her... many injuries, illness, a car crash etc... Sometimes, it's hard to see skaters we have followed for so long fade.

A Scherazade without blatant Egyptian arms? I'm impressed, Ahsun! Her jumps are so big and effortless, and they remind me a bit of Yelim Kim's. I would like her to hold a few of the choreo elements a bit longer, to let the choreo really breathe and not feel like a checklist. She did well with the speed required at the end of the program during the steps. She is a solid spinner, but I'd really like her to straighten out her standing leg a bit on her biellmann positions especially.
Agree on choreo parts.Also i quess because of pooped Lutz she didnt start Stsq perfect into music.

Love the dress:love2::love2:

Yes, so beautiful :love:

Love her dress - simple, elegant, beautiful colour.

Ahsun. Gorgeous dress.

see, you don't need to die :console:
The thing is... while I love my Team Korea skaters, my darling is even more beloved and I will be affected by what happens to him most. I am pretty much certain that I won't be able to live beyond AWG

This program is so difficult, the music is so quiet and steady throughout without a clear build but Rino does such a good job to perform it consistently and make it engaging throughout the full four minutes. That is so hard to do, especially when she's not as technically consistent as other skaters. Every move is carefully considered, and even her basic crossovers are so good - she has such a great push-under to build speed. One tiny error - a doubled sal - but the quality on everything is just so good.
