2024 Finlandia Trophy Women's Free Skate

0 speed.Doubles on doubles.Sad to see such a poor performance from Mai.Those judges are giving Stsq lvl 4 for everyone again same as short? 😂

Oh Mai, gets the combination and the flip done, and then doubles the salchow; the jumps definitely were a struggle again today. Love that she's staying in character while taking her bows. She has such a good approach to her performances, always with a smile once she finishes.

Everyone has looked so nice today, I guess I'm going to have to wait for Ice Dance for some outlandishness.

my boy is hurrying home to see it, he missed men and women, but to miss ice dance? no, never

Mai truly loves to skate, I can see it and feel it from her performance despite the jump mistakes 🥰

I hope her body is okay though, I hope it can support her to keep doing what she loves, even if she's just going to compete domestically / do ice shows in thefuture.
If she cannot continue, she would be beloved as a show skater.

A Scherazade without blatant Egyptian arms? I'm impressed, Ahsun! Her jumps are so big and effortless, and they remind me a bit of Yelim Kim's. I would like her to hold a few of the choreo elements a bit longer, to let the choreo really breathe and not feel like a checklist. She did well with the speed required at the end of the program during the steps. She is a solid spinner, but I'd really like her to straighten out her standing leg a bit on her biellmann positions especially.
