2024 Four Continents Men's Free Skate

It's the latter but Chris is pronouncing it "Yin" at times and I honestly don't understand where he is getting that pronunciation from... But, whatever, it's hardly the only name that he's gotten wrong. None of us are perfect.
True...Although I could have sworn I've heard him say "Gin" before...

But yeah if people think Chris and Ted are bad with names, they be "WTF" at me, my pronuciation is terrible :laugh2:

Wesley looks cool in his costume and he's here to Kill Bill.

I don’t like Yamamoto’s skating at all. For all the talk about how certain skaters just go from jump to jump, he’s actually doing the same thing albeit with good skating skills. His skating is empty.
Good skating skills can take you far. Shoma's crossovers are their own choreographic element but Sota takes that too far. There is literally nothing between his jumps. However, I did notice some effort and performance from him today, so I appreciate that.

...when did this happen? When did Wesley uncactify? He did really good? I am going into shock right now, someone pinch me please.

Finally! WEsley doesn't implode after a good SP.
Bravo. Very happy for him. Still not my fave Canadian skater... but will be cheering for him at worlds. He will need even better there to retain Canada's two spots.. he will be on his own as I don't think the number 2 skater will bring such a good ranking.

Perhaps I see it more as career partners and you see it more as relationships.
BTW. I think it's perfectly fine to be upset for a while... but after several years, for something that didn't even happen... You deserve inner peace my friend ;)
Okay I have to conserve energy to not die before my darling so I will be brief. After Kyueun retired the hope of a Korean pairs team died. If Hyejin hadn't appeared literally out of nowhere it still would be dead. And because while Steven was an actual good person his back did not hold up the hope is not quite alive. That hope is what I grieve. And until we get a steady pairs team that can qualify for the Olympic team event I will feel that void. And maybe I'm a bad person but being pissed at M. Deschamps does not disturb my inner peace, it's not like I'm angry that he won gold today. He will be a bad person to me but I accept that there will be people I will not be happy with.

I do not know where this skate came from either, he was looking rough in the practices but skated so well in competition. I'm really happy for him but I hope that he's not actually injured and was just using a new practice strategy or something.
