It sounds like Mai is no longer having pain whilst training, which is amazing! I loved her old SP but I also love this one... 'tis a rough life, having to choose between two great programs. Such a shame about the combo, but I just love watching her skate.

That might be the the most disgusting mascot gifts thrown on the ice ever.

That thing is Bathynomus giganteus aka giant isopod.
The reason people are throwing them for Rinka is because she stated in her ISU Bio that one of her hobby is "collecting goods of Bathynomus giganteus"

Rinka definitely finds them adorable and not disgusting

Wow, Mihara was totally held up. This has been such a good event she in no way deserved to place that high.

But I often find her overscored.

Mihara's score was a bit generous given she had an underrotation and a fall. Wouldn't have had that ahead of Wi or Thorngren.
