Unfortunately I missed the start of Amira METTLER (CHE) because of the stream freezing. But I don't think I missed much of the programme.

As soon as I saw her, I knew she was portraying Princess Jasmine from "Aladdin". And, sure enough, she was skating to "Speechless" by Naomi Scott.

She was really good!

The best bit is when it was announced that she had gone into the lead, and she couldn't believe it!

Oh, and the guy sitting beside her for the results was holding a toddler.

Anita KINDZIERSZKY (DEU) skating to "Goo Goo Muck" by the Cramps. Followed by the version of Lady Gaga's "Bloody Mary" that I reckon sounds like it is sung by the Chipettes!

She is wearing a black mourning dress. Which actually reminds me a lot of the jumpsuit that my kid Olivia Bazlova wears in her FS to the original version of "Bloody Mary".

I LOVED IT!!!!

She goes into the lead.

As soon as you saw Ann-Kathrin SCHWARZ (DEU), you knbew she would be doing a Michael Jackson programme. Black and white jumpsuit, with a single black glove.

But, she was skating to a song that I can't remember seeing being skated to before. But have long wanted to. "Dirty Diana".

Oi! One of her companions had a German flag with her. And when the camera was on them, she got up and held the flag in front of the camera. And we weren't able to see the reaction to the scores!

She goes into 7th position

Sabrina STRACKE (DEU) also did a Michael Jackson programme. Black jumpsuit with an open white blouse over it, and a black hat with white stripe. Oh, and the obligatory single glove.

This time, it was "Smooth Criminal".

We got more MJ signature moves in this programme than the one a couple of skaters beforehand.

She goes into 7th position.

Oh. My. Goodness.

Kathleen YARNOLD (AUS) came out dressed as a bumble bee!!!

And then the music started, and it all made sense. It was a techno version of Rimsky-Korsakov's "Flight Of The Bumble Bee".

What can you say about somebody skating in a bumble bee costume?! Apart from it being a bumble of fun. (See what I did there?)

Mamma Mia! Mariarosaria de LUCIA (ITA) is dressed up as a sexy French maid. (Or should that be Italian maid?)

Hey I know that music! That's the "Bewitched" theme tune!!! And then it changed to the "I Dream Of Jeannie" theme tune!!!

I remember watching episodes of those when I was a kid, and enjoying them. And I really wish they would be shown on TV again, as I would love to watch them in their entirity!!!

Perhaps needless to say, I loved that programme!!!

Gráinne didn't look as nervous as she was the other day, but she was still being very cautious.

I don't know. She was runner-up in an Irish Dancing competition a few months ago, so maybe she has been concentrating more on that this season. And it is beginning to show in her skating. I don't know.

Anita BENESOVA (CZE) had the most French programme I have seen in a long time.

She was skating to "Les Champs-Elysées" by Pomplamoose. And she was wearing a black dress with red polka dots. And a red top underneath the dress.

I loved Katharina DOYLE (DEU) the other day. And I loved her again today!

She was wearing a yellow and white dress, and skating to "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls!!!

And boys was she getting into it!!!

I'm disappointed with that.

After a long Artistic FS competition, it is time for a shorter one. A group of 3 Gold III + IV gentlemen.

I delayed my dinner for an hour so that I could comment on the last group of the Bronze I ladies. So, I will be too busy eating to comment on this.

I am still eating, but I had to coment about the first skater.

Elena RICKMANN (DEU) was dressed as a cat. Complete with tail and a mask of a cat's face, which she had on top of her head.

I thought she might be skating to something from "Cats", like somebody did earlier in the wekk. But, she didn't. The first song was in German, and the second song was in another language. But, there were cat noises in both of them.

It was so cute to watch!

Rachael RICHARDS (GBR) was skating to "Stairway To Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. Now, this is one of my favourite songs. But, like "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, it is a song that is difficult to make into a skating programme, because it is a long song and when it gets edited down, it is so easy to loose the feeling of the song.

But, the editing wasn't too bad in this programme.

Marjo JUNTUNEN-NIELSEN (DEN) has been watching too much Loena Hendricks. She started off doing that holding onto the boards and going up and down them sexily that Loena does a lot. And that set the tone for the whole programme.

She was wearing a pink dress, and skating to "Why Don’t You Do Right?" by Benny Goodman and Peggy Lee.

She goes into 4th position.

And as a surprise to absolutely nobody, Monika ZIOBROWSKA (POL) was skating to music from "Carmen". Old warhorse "Habanera", as it happens.

I wouldn't say it was a typical olè dress, but it was the correct colours. Red top and black skirt.

It blended in well when she was waiting for her results with the rest of the Polish team!

She goes into 2nd position. And judging by her reaction, it was a big surprise!

Tracey HODGKINSON-JONES (GBR) skated to "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" by James Brown.

And she even wore a hat!

We now have the final two Pairs competitions of the week. 5 Adult Pairs partnerships; followed by 2 Intermediate Pairs partnerships. The Adult Pairs partnerships are arranged into a group of 2 partnerships; followed by a group of 3 partnerships.

Agnes LINDINGER / Andras NEISER (FIN) were really pulling the goodies out of the bag!

Massive cheers when they did a back inside death spiral. And again when they did another move which I don't know the name of but I'm pretty sure it is an adagio move that isn't legal in competition.

Their synchronicity wasn't great when they were doing side-by-side moves. But, the audience didn't care! They loved them!

Really simple costumes. She had a plain white blouse and navy skirt. He had a plain white shirt and navy trousers.

Well, I suppose it is appropriate, because they made the skating look simple!

Into the lead. And I wouldn't be surprised if they stayed there to the end.

Unfortunately, things didn't go as well for Karen TAYLOR / John DARNTON (GBR) today as they did in the Artistic FS yesterday.

They did get to show their fun personalities at the start with their wee act. I liked that. But there were lots of mistakes after that.

John gave Karen a big hug at the end. And when they got their results, Gillian had her arm around Mum comforting her.

They go into 4th position.
