A warhorse choice for the Mullens but it is a new style for them and allows them to develop some better and longer held edgework. Smart kids too! Does she remind anyone of a very, young Shae-Lynn Bourne

I was reading that Grimm & Savitsky changed coaches

That transitional lift into their dance spin is insane! No one does crazy transitions like this team. Their lifts are gorgeous. However, their skating skills seemed just a little stiff tonight, I think their struggles with illness and coaching change during the off-season have prevented them from really pushing forwards in terms of skating. I expect to see them improve a lot towards their next JGP as they get a solid block of uninterrupted training time.

The Japanese and French teams apparently used up the entire quota of originality. Germans are better skaters but this material is eminently forgettable (easy for me to say between my memory loss issues and lack of Prevagen).

ETA: The Germans don't list Neil Brown as a coach, but seeing him with them makes me wonder if they will switch to Brown and Margaglio, who have done great work for the senior Finnish teams. I'd love that, or for them to go to Arribert (and the same goes for both of the top senior Czech teams).

Now for Noemi & Noah.
I loved their RD and am really looking forward to see what they plan for the FD.

I haven't seen a less engaging Love Story program since the days when Jamie Sale was still relevant, which are thankfully long gone.

The costumes are incredible! Their one-foot turns were gorgeous, some of the footwork in their diagonal step was so intricate and close, and their character step was also really fantastic. I love their choice of slides within.
