is Filippa the lady mouse that raped Rossini more than once? if so Sarah
I just did a search, and played the first result:
Filippa Giordano - "Habanera"
I switched off after only 5 seconds!

I have been wondering if it has to do with music licensing issues?Neat!
In other news what's with all these covers? C'mon kids don't mess with the classics![]()

just delete it before some chreographer comes here and reads it...ultimate punishment: Filippa singing Umbrellas of Cherbourgh![]()

This was my intuition but I'm not sure if this is relevantI have been wondering if it has to do with music licensing issues?
Delete this too...

i get it has to be a cover to avoid issues but can't it be a nice one? are nice covers also against the law?Well, this music rights business might be behind all those dreadful covers...
It's a problem. I had shivers watching Ilia skating to Malaguena...Mark has a point about older judges and modern music, which is a problem when the athletes aren't (as I said) musicians but are young kids whose tastes are very different and who have teams that still go for 'suitable' music, often a bad version of it.
And now they are talking about copyright![]()
They must be against the law, based on some of these covers.i get it has to be a cover to avoid issues but can't it be a nice one? are nice covers also against the law?
But the covers are also subject to copyright - two lots actually, from the composer and the performer (even if we think the latter deserves something other than money for inflicting themselves on us)Well, this music rights business might be behind all those dreadful covers...
I dunno...these kids have young ears, so maybe it sounds less awful to them than to usi get it has to be a cover to avoid issues but can't it be a nice one? are nice covers also against the law?
