I do not know who the commentator but please, I just pointed out elsewhere that 'the Japanese love skaters' is decidedly dodgy. And it is NOT 'the hottest ticket in town' though the singles may be more popular.

I think the Japanese announcer is different from last year's? The English announcer is always the same though

Azusa's been dealing with quite a serious rib injury - the two of them have been unable to train for quite some time as a result and were considering WD. I am glad that they were able to show up, as this is really valuable competition experience for them, but I also really don't want them to aggravate the injury. This team has so much potential, so I really hope they can heal up and don't split up. The program is a lot of fun, and they did a great job making sure everything was clean, but as a result I don't think they were really pushing their edges and fighting for speed nearly as much - understandable, given their training issues, but their GOE and skating skills will be far lower here than what they will be when fully healthy.
