But how are they behind the German team?

Green/Parsons are sublime skaters and much better than at their first event, but I just have not enjoyed their MIDA programs that much... especially the lift it just kills the vibes so much

Hmmm... I don't know if this was the best music choice for this team, I don't know if quirky Austin Powers is the right vibe for them. They're performing, but it's not quite as committed as a Lajoie/Lagha are. My favourite part of the program was the paso doble hold in the pattern step - I wish they had done a more traditional "ice dance" program that played more to their strengths, because that would have been a really nice change of pace that shows off their strengths. Skating-wise it looked really solid, but it feels like they're caught between a couple different styles here.
