Chris has perked up

I mean Alyssa is perky isn't she. She still needs more speed and isn't going to get great PCS until she gets it, but this program suits her. It's cute, perky, and yet mature enough for a grown woman. The two US comeback girls are doing so much better here than in their first competitions. Good job. She will get some URs calls...but it was nice.

Alysa is getting better and better each time out. She has so much fun in the step sequence, singing along and genuinely dancing to the music. Recovered well from the wobble at the start of her flying camel. The timing of her Ina Bauer to the music is so perfect - she holds it just long enough for full effect. The audience was fantastically supportive, it felt - through the screen - like there was so much happy energy in the arena.
