Enormous score for Kaori, and she's qualified for the GPF! Well done to her! Her 2A probably deserves its own fan club, at this point - the one at the start of this skate was so well-timed with the music. She looks like she's more comfortable with this programme already - I think her performance in the step sequence was better than at Skate Canada, though she still skated through some of the choreography near the beginning when she was focusing on the jumps. She is so strong - that 3F at the end looked a little wild on the landing to me, but she just got that free leg back and all was fine. The little slip at the end was so funny - I imagine that was what she was laughing at as she came off the ice.

Initially I put Alysa 3rd and Yuna 4th - glad I trusted Yuna and swapped them over!

I’m still not sold on the program, but I can’t accuse Sakamoto of not performing this time. She looked like she was into it and was having fun and that was infectious.

Not sure she really gets Fosse choreo(and I don't think this is on her), but I always love watching her skate.
