2024 Skate America Free Dance

Jinx. I was just thinking, just you wait, next year we will have Cher.

Enough already
i want my Cher!

is it ? because it's working out fine for them... i believe they are not good at anything else at this point and waiting to be proved wrong.
Here is where we differ. I think they do have talents—not technical talents, maybe, but certainly talents for performance—that they’ve never used, or developed.
I dare them to prove me wrong!

that's a smart move. Have a good night.

did you see Lopareva Brissaud this year ? are their dances any good ? I loved what they did last year.
Thank you.

I am a diehard Mylène's fan, so I was 100% in with their short dance last year.

This year I haven't really clicked with their FD but I am curious to see how it will work against G/F as both teams have very similar (to me) themes. Did you like it?

i haven't seen L/B's yet this year. I love Mylène too ;) Last year was so much more fun... Don't know if you saw it but there was Bronsard/Richmond with Les Rita Mitsouko which was super fun too.. (lower ranked and now split Canadian team)...

In any case, thanks all for watching. I am much better behaved than yesterday :) hope you all noticed LOL It required a lot of effort LOL

Rough outing for team USA in their backyard.

I’m sure they were hoping for three golds and only got one.
And not only that, but the Quad God did not look unbeatable today. I think that Yuma Kagiyama, with a strong skate, could have beaten him today.

Even Kevin—who has nowhere near the same kind of technical repertoire that Ilia has—beat him in the free.

So, due to the rhythm dance error, Lilah and Lewis just about managed to overcome reputaional scoring and home advantage of the World Champions. Good show, I definitely think they deserved it on aggregate.

I'm happy with the podium. Olivia and Tim seem to have gelled a lot better this year, and are looking more like a team than two people on the ice at the same time.

It feels weird to hear the British anthem at skate america :party2:

Actually with these scores...I think IAM teams are beatable. Just need G/P and G/F to polish their performances

Smart/Dieck winning the bronze or Metelkina/Berulava losing the bronze may be the biggest shocks of this entire event for me. Eteri has officially lost her mojo.
