Maddie!!!!! All green for her and what a nice program! I'm so happy for her!! She really seemed to connect with the music, even if it's not my favorite music lol.

That’s the best Schizas has skated in quite a while. She really came alive in the step sequence, but I didn’t like the rest of the program. The Lion King has great music, but that doesn’t mean that it makes a good program. Most skaters can’t do it justice.

I would personally love to see no more Disney programs, lol

Madeline's dress would be lovely but for the colour... I am going to really dislike the Lion King by the end of season.

Now I like the color and she looks gorgeous in it - like a lioness. It is clear she loves this music.

At first I thought the same too, but the first song in Maddie's music in her bio is listed as

Spirit by Beyonce, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Timothy Lee McKenzie

So Chris isn't entirely wrong.... I agree that it's a weird way to introduce music that's so recognizably Lion King though

Beyoncé may be on one of the songs but that still does not make it “music by Beyoncé” any more than if someone skated to the Wicked movie soundtrack next year it would be “music by Ariana Grande”
