I didn't expect to enjoy Chen/Xing as much as I did, this was stylish and quite sleek. They definitely felt the music and it looked like a ... dance. I know it shouldn't be a big deal but I remember Chinese Ice Dancing teams with programs or performances where it looked just like ... two people skating and doing some acrobatics on the ice instead of an actual dance, I'm being brutally honest with you. I won't name which teams gave me that impression and with which programs but I remember quite a lot of such, and some of those had some pretty high scores for those.

Aren't the draw subgroups determined by WS? So I think there are actually only two situations where the IAM teams could have been in the "wrong" order (Lopareva/Brissaud & Reed/Ambrulevicius, and Chock/Bates & Fear/Gibson)

I guess so but skaters could have been in the same sub groups you know.. and interverted.

Out of sync last set of twizzles cost Ramanauskaite/Kizala some points but they had a good skate. hey have improved a lot since Beijing Olympics where they only got to compete due to no Lithuanian passport for Alison Reed.

I think there are two teams of announcers at worlds because at times we hear PJ Kwong with a male announcer (francophone) and the other times I felt we heard a woman announcer that wasn't PJ Kowng (francophone with a male announcer, anglophone) But maybe my brain is messing up with me.
