I just looked at the livescoring, and I am starting to fear that Junior Worlds is over for my Singles kids. Chiara needs 11 of the upcoming skaters to go behind her, while Zhasmin needs 6.
And there are a lot of good skaters amongst the remaining 18 skaters.

A Ravel piece that's not Bolero? I am shocked! This is a difficult piece to skate to, but I think Stefania did a very good job picking out the nuances despite her age. She has lovely control of her arm movements and great extension on her landings.

I love Yu-Feng's skating, she is such a talent. Her 3+3 has underrotated, but I think it's impressive and important that she went for it. That step sequence was fantastic, she has such good and unique choreography. That lutz was such a moment, and I am so excited to see the talent coming out of Taiwan.Fun fact: Her countrywoman Tzu-Han Ting, who made a splash at 4CC, is in the building watching! was at the opening ceremony and is now watching a ballroom dancing competition

I doubt anyone who scored below 50 will qualify for the FS today, honestly, I think it might even be difficult for Olesya and Hana to make it through.

I've been wondering if this can be seen as the best interpretation of the lyrics: she's definitely not copying Eilish's style... on the other hand it could be argued that it's also the least original way to dress for a figure skating girl.

Anthea's jumps are so nice and big! Between her, Kimmy, Repond, and Livia Kaiser, Swiss women's skating is in great hands. She is so close to putting it all together, and I think just a tiny bit more development overall could see her shoot up the ranks of both juniors and seniors.
