Oh, Rinka... gorgeous 3A but the rest of the jumps were tight and that combo will really hurt her. I do love the energy she gives to this program.

Watanabe landed the 3A and fought well to get that combo done. Good way to start the competition.

Eh,jumps were not there today.Great agressive and quick skate which show good interpretation to the music,but that stsq was a bit strange,some moments were out of it.Not content with this skate

I'm so tired of Roxanne but the intensity does suit Rinka well. Love the leg kick during the step sequence

Awesome that Rinka landed her 3A. The combo was a mess, but the skating was more compelling than usual. I don't like Moulin Rouge and the ending of the music was really bad.

Oh Rinka, great triple axel and then combo issues... totally her. But it was a good skate even with the mistake.
How many time will Ted say that she was only technical skater, every single time he has to.

Gaaah! Second competition I have watched in the past week to start with "Tango De Roxanne".

But, boys, Rinka was really getting into it!

Just a pity about the mistakes.

A very solid short program from Ami, the axel stepout isn't ideal but she got it fully around and still ended up with more points than with a 2A, and the rest of her elements were so nicely done. She really engaged the crowd and has gorgeous kneebend in her step sequence. I think she'll be happy with her GP Final debut, she seems to be managing the pressure well.

Again meesed up 3A.She give us the best at the start of the season, but couldnt keep it up.Overall high quality as always.
Good first season for her.
