Pretty decent skate by Maddie - just a couple of jumping issues. Hopefully she'll be able to put everything together at Worlds! I'm not 100% sure about the program yet, and I don't like her dress, but I will wait to reserve judgement until she's had more time with it.

Not my favorite program of hers, but okay skate

So a guy who came inside during the Zamboni and sat down behind me started talking to his friend during her skate, thankfully the guy is a fs fan (it seems) and when I asked him if he could be quiet during the skates he apologised right away

I know. Perhaps the US Federation said they were available?

Who knows... but it's an international feed so it would be nice to hear from other people... I have enjoyed the interviews I got to hear from the said American skaters, that's not my issue. But yeah, I'd like to hear about others too

Love the construction of Maddie's program, and that dress is exquisitely dreamy. I really like this for her. Sorry about the fall, after the jump was pretty much in the bag!, and the doubled lutz. The double axel before the final spin is a nice touch.

I find Maddie’s pink dress is atrocious and makes her look old. The music is beautiful, but it almost accentuates her poor posture. I think of Lu Chen and Karen Chen with this music, who are both exquisite and graceful with wonderful extension, and that’s maybe not a comparison I would have invited by choosing that music.

talking about stats , in this FS champ. the 70% of skaters had a mistake or a pooped element in the ice, just wonder what happens

She's so fast - that doesn't always come through on tv but in this case it does.

Oh lord Haein you should've done at least a single axel on the second lutz.... not like this as Worlds girl you can make mistakes but you have to do the math

I think the tech box number will go down... but i am afraid Rino's slay count will be on pause.. which sucks for both Rino and me

Wow!! Haein skated much better here than at Korean Nationals. Her stamina improved significantly. She is heading in the right direction going to Worlds.
