Welp, we have the final results for the second Ice Dance Scoring Under the Dictatorial Eye of ISU Ice Dance Chair Shawn Rettstatt Drinking Game! As a reminder, it's one sip for level 1s, two for the level Bs, three for the ! on choreo elements, and four for twizzle falls, lift errors and other ice dance disasters. Here are the final results...

...wow. Just wow. I have no words. This really was an ice dance event. We beat the score from the FD at Skate America by a considerable margin. Shawn Rettstatt will be seen by many of these teams in their nightmares, no one got above a level 2 in the pattern or midline step, we had multiple errors, and somehow the ShibSibs are in 5th with a 72.

I think this scoring is good if it means that they're forcing the teams to work on their levels before the Olympics. If it's just a two event thing and the feedback doesn't change anything then I'm not sure why they're doing it.
