2025 JGP Riga Women's Free Skate

A good overall JGP debut for Trisha. Love the movement of her arm at the start. Regroups quickly after the fall on the axel to land the 2Lo. Great change of rotation speed in the Ch Combo spin. Nicely timed spiral on the music, and a pretty Ina Bauer in front of the judges, with the hand on her shoulder. She did not disappoint with the obligatory Bond finger guns at the end.

I learned Latin in school...or tried to, at least. I had to choose between this and more natural science, and no way I was doing THAT....:laugh4::laugh4::laugh4:
i did classical studies so i studied latin and greek in highschool, on the other hand i can barely count to 10 so it was quite a natural choice :ROFLMAO: i majored in medieval history at university, latin was fundamental too, our exam was of course easier than other majors latin exam but still involved translations

Saedis looks happy with that skate. Off to a good start with the 2A-2T-2Lo, recovers the 3T well enough to tack her second 2T on the end, and then steps out of the next 3T - clearly not her favourite jump today. Spiral entry into 2A is a nice touch, particularly as she gains confidence and holds the spiral longer - see when she repeats it in the choreo sequence. I liked the Biellman position in her flying camel with her head back and extended free arm.
