Better from Sherry Zhang. Yes, there were still some costly jump errors, but better than yesterday.

Ah, Vanessa Mae, and a favourite piece of music for me. Sherry is lovely to watch on the ice, and looks so fast. Best split jump I have seen of the field so far as well. I liked the 3F‑2A‑2A, and her spins are great ‑ that final spin is incredibly quick. She's musical as well, and performed with passion. A really fun skater to watch.

Looks like Sherry has grown a bit. I wish her arm moves continued the fluidity from one line to the next. She is very focused on her jumping. I hope she grows into the emotion of this music a bit more.

Hi! Alice - nice to meet you. I did not get to see you yesterday - what a great SP placement.
What a nice little bee - she buzzes around in her own world and does not rush. Her technique is in very good order and she is a little fighter. I like her awareness of her music as well. She has a youthful, fresh presence and nice musical awareness.

Alice. Beautiful blue dress. Great program and interpretation. Really good skate.

Decent skate for Alice. She does not have the maturity of someone like Sherry, but she gets good height on her jumps, is flexible and also clearly trying to improve her PCS. The Free just has a lot of technical elements for her, the Short allows her to emote much more.

That was a nice skate from Alice Smith. Yes, she fell on the 3Lz and ran out of momentum on the Ch combination spin, but she held it together. Really good progress from last season and good interpretation.

A different feeling program from the energetic SP for Alice, though she remains just as quick. She has range! She's aware of the details as well, the crispness of that opening head turn, the wistful expression at the end. She doesn't let the 3Lz fall discompose her, and gets back to the jumps without any hesitation. The spiral shows off her flexibility, as does that Biellmann at the end. I'm looking forward to her growth as a skater.

Still a top 10 finish for Alice, which is a huge achievement for her, and a score which would again be competitive in the GBR senior field.

Impressive skate from Yuseong. Music choice is a matter of taste. And crown delivered!

Yuseong with one of the loveliest dresses I have seen today. Gets the 3A done, hooray, with a big GOE! The next jumps I am pretending didn't happen, back on track with the 3S-2T, and straight into the flying camel. Spiral into 3F is a nice touch. She rotates so fast in the change foot combination spin. A beautiful Ina Bauer and hydroblade as highlights in her choreo sequence, and a level four spin to finish. I enjoyed that very much.

Pretty dress, good job overall. I have to admit that I like Titanic programs.

Yuseong. Beautiful dress and now a beautiful crown. 3A was magnificent. Really good program and skate.

Not as clean as Yeusong can be, but her coming straight after Alice really shows the difference in standard between the two countries.

I love Yuseong's violet dress. So lovely. There is a warmth to her style. She gave away technical points with jump errors. She just needs a bit more strength to get those landings solid.
