Sarah isn't thrilled with that skate, presumably because of the fall. I felt my back popping and crunching, watching Sarah's last minute stretches as she came to centre ice. Gets the 3Lz-3T done, over a point in GOE as well, and then a nice 2A out of the Ina Bauer. Down on the 3Lo, though. The little passage of steps between her two spins is as fun as ever, as is her step sequence. Those two split jumps must take quite a bit out of tired legs at the very end.

See I just don't understand why anyone put any other international skater over Kaori as a favourite. Even with ultra-c they aren't beating this. It's so obvious she is still supposed to be "the one". I hope she can hang on in the FS, though. It will be very different.

I don't like the choice of music - way too portentous and self-important - but she's wonderful.

The only thing i would change is to add slightly delay on that 2A to be perfectly fit into music,but overall it's just masterpiece.
Her skating skills are just that much better than any other skater is crazy.You don't need to watch figure skating to notice she lives in different planet.

I'm just soaking up this programme and appreciating Kaori's skating. I love that relevé, that little pause in the programme, just before the judges, and that spectacular transition into the 2A. How she glides backwards on one leg so fast and then just turns around and jumps is a minor miracle to me. Head back twizzles at the end of her step sequence too. The roar from the crowd at the end!

Ok, Kaori is certainly gonna beat Sofia finally. Beautiful. And her lutz was clearly from the correct edge I think

The Lutz was clearly within the quarter (so, rotated). I wonder if Skating91 will complain about the rotation on this one.

Her 3T is still very borderline. Lutz edge problems. She is barely rotating these jumps. She will need to be absolutely perfect which she hasn't been in a while to take the 230s that she is theoretically capable of.

I admire both Bradie and Sarah's talents but I don't feel this music suits their current strength and talents.
