I can watch this in total peace. I want Chock/Bates to win gold since they are the ones that got me to start watching ice dance, but I’m not so invested in that.

For me it was the Duchesnays. Later, Klimova/Ponomarenko & Usova/Zhulin.

Really beautiful skate, another team with a lot of potential. Some of the technique does need work, but they have a beautiful musicality and amazing expression in their upper bodies. Some cool and unique holds and changes of hold too.

Looking forward to seeing more from them next season!

I’m interested to see how they’ll score here since I thought they were done dirty at OQE. I really like the program and am impressed with Majorov as an ice dancer. Not only was he in singles, but I remember he had a high flying 3Lz too.
