I guess that means he isn't a very successful robber...Why, he's supposed to be the Robber - not the Robbed! He can't be much of a robber, if he's down to his underwear!

Mesa is a suburb of Phoenix...it's all the same to me. Sedona is 2 hours away but there isn't a major airport there. Nice, maybe we can compare notes on the concerts.
the promo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TD8vPfUrt3M Prince of the violin
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCu53CPgsOU old concert as I said Plushy's videos are there we do not have to imagine him...
Nice. He can also send his hologram now.
Only 2 weeks until Japan Open and then Kings on Ice! I hope he does some new interviews for Romanian tv.
edit - I found this nice photo in my random web surfing. Did he wear that costume in a show? Or was it just for a photoshoot? I can't read the article, I'm sure that would be a helpful clue.
What changed? He's now an unwelcome threat who already won everything but is still waltzing back into competition to steal medals from other (American) skaters. If he'd competed actively after Torino, like Witt did after Sarajevo... well, I think the results, and the commentary, might've been different.Sandpiper, do you remember when we were talking about Carruthers and his comment on Plush? II aid he liked Plush but he had bad words about him at Vancouver...Well I found this video..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfBQBUxMx5Q Nijinsky on TEB. Carruthers had relly relly nice words on Plushy listen to it. And a poster ask:
"
By 2010, Peter Carruthers had turned on Plushy. What had changed?" I know this is an indirect evidence..
and in 2012 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBJtNXvyWbg LP ans SP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kX6s8tRPP7Y Carruthers is OK again..
 I also can't wait those events..
I don't know that picture and article..but I asked it..

Carruthers is fair enough in 2012 Euros. Tango Roxanne is one of those programs that takes repeated viewings to appreciate, so maybe that's why he didn't like the choreography (B.Eurosport got it right away though. ). But--I still had to find alternate versions to appreciate the performances properly. Carruthers just talks too much--can't he leave the knee stuff and Sochi stuff for after the performance? (or be more succinct... granted, I'm hardly the person to lecture others about being brief...)

I think all medalist videos get deleted at some point (I've seen Lambiel and Buttle's performances appear and then disappear). But most of them tend to have one version remaining. It is a bit strange that Plushy's programs disappear with such regularity, more than any other skater's... It makes no sense; it's not like they're doing anything to monetize those rights. You are right the Eurosport commentators really liked it. But that video was deleted as the others. Almost every video of Plushy's skating were prohibited by ISU or the Eurosport. And I don't understand...why only Plushy's videos? All Godfather videos from Torino were deleted, but for example Arakawa's gold medal performance is exist...
Yes, I think the Eurosport guys strike the right balance: identify the jumps, a few overall remarks, but generally leaves the rest 'til later. The American commentators--be it Carruthers, Hamilton, or Button--just talk way too much.Well, at least you're not nattering on during other people's performances... or being recorded doing it.
Actually, I find the (Brit) Eurosport guys do the exact right amount... A few remarks on the jumps - a few highlights.... and then the save the "real" talk for after. As it should be.

Other than the Eurosport version, I think the Russian version of 2012 Europeans is fairly watchable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6I-PgVcITE I can't understand what they're saying (so if they're saying horrible things, I won't know), and they don't talk a lot. :
It really is annoying; not only do Plushy's videos get quick deletes--Eurosport versions are the first to go. And the only English commentary on Youtube is now Carruthers talking on and on and on... (seriously, it took me forever to appreciate that LP... I'm starting to suspect Carruthers--and not my initial dislike for the music--is the one responsible!)I'm talking about the english Eurosport guys. Their comments are very good. I have that video I tried to upload again but the Youtube doesn't allow.
I think that's the NBC version of the Torino LP. Which is, sadly, unwatchable for me (seriously: it wasn't his most sophisticated performance, but it's hardly as bad as they're saying--in fact, it's a godsend compared to everything else that night!)Here's the 2006 Olys Godfather with B.Eurosport guys: http://my.mail.ru/mail/leskinasv/video/_myvideo/4.html
I've found a lot of videos on that site that I've never seen...also here's the rare Logical Song from Sarajevo (with the original music!): http://my.mail.ru/mail/lavovator/video/894/900.html
I only found Russian Eurosport versions of the 2012 Euros though.
I'm afraid Plushy is still focusing his "something new" energies into competitive programs...I'm really curious what will Plushy skate at YO. I'm waiting something new...
