Judges Names & Country announced at SC - Huh???

I watched some of Skate Canada on the CBC on-line link and was rather surprised to see before each competition the judges were introduced and which country he/she represents announced. I thought the whole idea of the new judging system was to remain anonymous - so we don't know which country awarded what mark. What gives? Did I miss something? They may as well bring back the 6.0 marking system while they are at it!

We know the names and nationalities of the panel, but do we know which judge gave which mark?

No, we don't know which judge gave which mark. The judge number as introduced has no relation to the judge number on the protocol.

They are the same for the JGP, but not for the GP or ISU Senior championships.
