Yeah, he is, which is amazing. I think the next youngest is Vincent, who's exactly a whole year older(born oct. '00). Aliev is 2+ years older and Samarin 3+. Cha would've been plenty young enough(the perfect age, really) to stay juniors and probably dominate given the jr mens field this year, since no other skater seems to have both cha's consistency and quality. But hey, being the best in a small skating country is a blessing and a curse(cause who doesn't want to go to the olympics, i guess). Given his age I just want to enjoy his senior debut, but between his injury(I know it's been nearly 3 months, but still)
and korean media's usual crazy unrealistic expectations, I'm feeling on the edge.... either way, good luck, brilliant young thing!
