Ladies LP - actual competition

I think she didn't credit for the last salchow becuase of the extra steps on the to-sal sequence.

I don't know if it was anger, but something felt wrong; I just felt it from the beginning.

I don't know if it's anger but I thought she looked "upset" at the beginning of her programs in her SP and LP. It was good to see her succeed in her 3A.

117 for Rochette, seems low to me.

Maybe her last triple salchow didn't count because the triple-triple sequence didn't count as a sequence. ?????

How is that toe-salchow going to be marked?

Isn't she in danger of having that marked as two separate jumps with the extra steps?

I'm thinking the same thing. If it's counted as 2 jumps, her last jumping pass (3sal) won't count. Could explain why she is below Mao in the Free.

I found neither Asada or Rochette really appealing. Both looked horribly concentrated, no magic.

I'm thinking she didn't get credit for one of her 3Salchow attempts. She basically did 8 jumping passes when only 7 are allowed for the ladies. That unfortunate turn after the half loop in the sequence really cost her. It's no longer the days of the Sasha Cohen 3toe-3Salchow sequence where multiple steps were allowed.

She didn't look like her usual self to me either. I think she felt a little down, but not angry.

I'm wondering if the size of the rink had something to do with her not skating to her usual potential.

So Mao with her 4 triple program outscores Joannie's even if her 7th triple didn't count.

I think Fumie's second 3Z and 3F will both be downgraded (certainly both -GOE since she flipped out of them, 3F worse than 3Z). Audience loved it though.

Oh, come on, Asada is ahead of Rochette in the LP...
That said....

Fumie !! fought through, yes !
