Ladies LP

Well I like Miki and I haven't read anything written about her to be offensive. In fact, I thought she was one the skaters who got the benefit of doubt in her SP scores.

I would like any combination of the top 6 ladies in the SP on the podium, as long as the judging is fair.

I see one poster that’s offensive. ;)
I haven’t been expecting Judges to be fair since a long time ago, concerning many skaters , otherwise, I would always have negativities come up in my mind, since I often disagree with judges especially PCS, not only GOE.

About Miki, I didn’t think her SP was empty program artistically at all even though it was not perfect. But her LP was at SA. Hope she will improve her LP.

You really said it when you remarked "I can't get into Miki's programs anymore." That is EXACTLY how I feel. She's about to become a bathroom-break skater for me even though she's always in contention for a medal.

I agree. She has deep-edged solid skating skill with good jumps. A better choreograph could draw from her subtle artistry, I believe.

But who? Lori Nichol would try to turn her into a Baby Ballerina stylewise and that doesn't suit Miki. Tarasova...Don't want to think it, as I haven't cared for her work the last few years. David Wilson is a definite possiblity, but he's so busy could he find the time to work w/Miki?

I really liked what Shae-Lynn did for Joannie w/her SP. That could be interesting and give both Ladies a true chance to get themselves noticed. Miki is a World Champion (I hate this former stuff. Just because someone/a team aren't the current World Champions doesn't mean they aren't still World Champion/s. I hate that!! I'll get off the soapbox now...) , so she'll always have fans/those in the know watching her and that would help Shae-Lynn to get a little bit notice of her choreographic work as well.

Could be a win win situation for both Ladies. Just putting it out there. :)

Miki already worked with David Wilson in 2005/2006. Lori Nichol would be a great one for Miki but I heard Lori turned her down because at the time, Lori had another japanese skater, Fumie Suguri. I just want her to leave Morozov and work on the besics and postures. Miki had great postures when she was with Nobuo Sato. I think she should go back to Sato.

also I like to mention that I am a fan of Miki, and I am not trying to be offensive here. She really needs to work on her postures and her basic skatings and transitionings. She falls more than anyone I know during the step sequences. I think it's partly because her transitioning skills are not up to her jumping.

I am critically of her because i want her to really work on these stuff so she could go higher!

I'm so excited to see Yuna's LP. Although many ppl seem to have found her LP not as good as her SP, I somehow liked it just as much as her SP. The choreos were very delicate and not overdone. I do not think that she could skate it to its full potential at SA because her jumps and spins did not flow very well. I hope she gets better here. The only concern is the camera work at this comp that has made me so dizzy!

I am also looking forward to seeing Sarah's program. She is always great in her selection of music and her choreos are always very well thought-out.

I agree! She has been the most impressive European woman so far, and Euros being in Helsinki this year might give her a boost! I hope so, she's great, although I do love Caro too.

I know! I wonder why she cannot get better PCS. Her skating is fast and beautiful and her presentation is superb. If the fact that she does not have more difficult jumps is affecting her PCS, I'd feel sorry for her.

does anyone know what time the Ladies FP starts? I am on the west coast, by the way.

3:00 am EST. So that's 12 am in pacific time zone.
I just got back from a party, and I'm kinda drunk. But I'll do pbp if IN works fine.
