Pretty good from Joannie, just a doubled loop and small step out on the lutz. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...she deserves it so much!

TBH, it's not Joannie's best but it's still much better than Kostner's ****-show-almost-gold-medal-winning LP last year.

Score? OMG, she beats Mao! Wow.

Aside from the 2loop and the tiniest of step-outs on the 2nd 3Lutz, Joannie skated really well. I felt the program was lacking her usual speed, but the new choreographic nuances were GORGEOUS. Great attention to the details!

Sorry that wasn't Joannie's best re: the jumps, but she never gave up on selling the mood of the program. This is a great program for her.

Also wish I'd mentioned Meier earlier, she gave a sweet and watchable performance and is another one who stays in the program all the way through -- very nice to watch. And of course on a shallow note she's a lovely young woman with usually exquisite costumes.

Joannie did well, but s/o on the 2nd triple lutz and doubled her loop. But nailed the 2 sequences.

That was a nervous Joannie!

only 2 mistakes, but that is too much to hope for any more than bronze at best... I'm impressed at how she's learning to keep her body movement looser though, despite nerves.

i note the crowd was somewhat silent during Joannie's skate, and subdued after

ahead of Mao?? I'm a bit surprised (as is she, lol), but I will say, at teast, that her program is very very complete, whereas Mao loses something in her concentration

Sad to see that for Joannie all of her work did not pay off in the end. Meaning that it was not as clean as she probably wanted it to be. She is first but she probably would have wanted to have a clean program
