Phaneuf was so overscored it was tragic. I don't care what her levels were - you fall that many times and make that many mistakes, you need a much lower free skate score.

Meanwhile, the Slovakian girl was great. And Czisny was, well, just lovely... good for her! What an improvement - even from the US Nationals LP.

There is a tentativeness to her skating though, that pervades all her movement, and this takes away from my enjoyment watching her.
Anyway - she was certainly focussed and showed herself well - bravo.
