no, it's fumie suguri's sister. mirai's voice does not sound like that.plus i don't think mirai's japanese is that good. haha.

Can i just say, I think Czisny is by far the best spinner in the world in ladies skating. She's really in a league of her own. Sure, Nakano, Zhang, Nagasu, Kim, Asada, Kostner are all wonderful spinners in their own right. But Czisny's positions are perfection, and she can maintain such speed.

Oh I'm so happy for Alissa for doing better than yesterday, that must feel good. No falls? That hasn't happened in awhile I think and if so that in itself is a good accomplishment.

Here's to hoping she moves up and that Rachel skates lights out.

I'm pretty sure that Canada will send 2 ladies to the Olympics. Joannie will undoubtedly finished in the top 5 if not land on the podium herself.

No, you are mistaken. Canada has the 2 spots easily locked up, but no chance of a 3rd now.

For 2 spots, you basically need one skater finishing in the top 12 (or is that top 10?) and the other simply making the free skate, or one lone skater finishing in the top 10 (or top 8?) if the other doesn't make the final... something along these lines - not going to look up the exact numbers, but we are well within those
