Ladies LP

Ugh, this music is driving me crazy. What other famous skater (US) has skated to this before? It's really familiar to me but I can't place it at all. Sasha? Or Johnny. Or neither. Help!

Johnny a few years ago.

But to me it's still Maria Butyrskaya's music.

Fumie not at her best.

But the jumps she did do well were really good. That was the first confident, aggressive jumping we've seen all night in the ladies free. Her 3L is still one of the best in the sport.

Didn't she skate to the same Rachmaninov in the '05-'06 season, culminating with a Worlds silver?

This should be her final international competition, IMO.

Pretty nice skate from Suguri... shame about the 2 footed 3t (or was that 3f?) and wonky sal. She's impressed me with her skating at this comp though, nothing really dazzling, but quite solid, with good flow and attack.

Maria B. ? I think she won her world title with this, right?

Yep I wanted Yukari instead. Didn't see Japanese national but hope Yukari was beat clean and not by fall.

are we talking about the music Otonal? The best program Johnny's ever had/done, IMHO.

No, you are mistaken. Canada has the 2 spots easily locked up, but no chance of a 3rd now.

For 2 spots, you basically need one skater finishing in the top 12 (or is that top 10?) and the other simply making the free skate, or one lone skater finishing in the top 10 (or top 8?) if the other doesn't make the final... something along these lines - not going to look up the exact numbers, but we are well within those

thanks amateur. I realized my mistake after I had typed it and went back to delete it, but people had already commented on it. But thanks for correcting me so that others didn't get the wrong idea.
I was wondering what the rule is for 1 skater though.

I can't believe Fumie is 28 years old! Wow, I'm truly impressed that she has kept her current level of technical skill for this long.

OK there goes Alissa score...

Off topic... While watching morozov there, I was thinking that if they ever made a movie about him, hugh jackman should play him...

Oh nevermind, it's Otonal. Johnny's best program ever, IMO.

Susanna's music started and I was like 'this sounds familiar...' took a few seconds before, duh, Patrick Chan!
