I don't like the dress personally. I don't like the neck and the bust area. Love the colour though.

Leonova's coach, Alla Piatova, does she have a big reputation in Russia? The only thing I know is that she also coaches Doronina. It's interesting, a country with so many legendary coaches - but the lady that ended their misery in Ladies' figure skating doesn't have big names like Mishin or Tarasova in her bio.

And that is very refreshing...

Quick impressions:

Michelle: gorgeous, wish they'd let her, Dick, and Bob do the color commentating, also.

Leonova: Wow, juniorish, not what I'd expected given the hype. Didn't see any particular reaching out to the crowd like the commentators were saying she does. ??? Didn't think the spins were good, seemed like a lot of little probs here and there.

Suguri: Sad for me to see her looking so labored.

Flatt: I enjoyed her, but I'm a fan.

Poykio: Beautiful try, some great moments, good for her.

Gedevanishvili: She really tries no matter what! Lot of awkward moves/landingssaves, though.

Overall, though, [yawn].

Asada, Rochette, and Kim should pick things up!

Wow, Mao with a beautiful 3A-2T right in front of the judges. Her second 3A attempt (fall) was UR, I think.

No 3-3 combo from her tonight. She's performing well though.

It's amazing that with so many type of music out there...these skaters seem to use only the similar type of music all the time....go figure.

Mao's program is boring, she seems to think through too much, and nothing but jump after jump, nothing else.
