Ladies SP

Well, she gets mandatory decuction for the wrong edge take-off and the triple lutz was very scratchy with step-out etc. anyway.

And perhaps this time the judges don't want to go as high as they did with the men yesterday - perhaps they got a call from the ISU-kings.

joanie landed her 3-3 !

 She's 3rd,

but off the lead by less of a point.

The free skate is going to be very interesting...

Oh, poor Fumie. But the scores aren't that bad... Perhaps even a bit nice - the triple lutz must have been underrotated and the triple flip had a huge step-out. I don't think that this was better than Ashley Wagner.

Huge, huge jumps by the Korean girl.

But then the scores are really too low for Ashley. Wrong edge is only -1 GOE. Look what Fumie got with just one good jump.

Interesting scores. Mao is only fifth (behind Bebe) in tech, but way ahead in PCSs.

Who would have thought that Ashley would be in 12th and Bebe in fifth.
Congrats to the ladies. Best SP of the season for Joannie she rocked that program.

Ashley's score is way too low. Of course I think she was a bit slower than usual.
Love mao's new dress and love miki's triple combination!

The top 3 Ladies are so close, only the LP will split them apart.

I watched the last two skaters. That Korean gal, has such potential but she needs Orser to speed her up and give her a style. Will be interested in her LP.
Mira Leung, whom I could never understand the hoopla about, finally woke me up. She's improved 100% since Tokyo Worlds.

Didn't see much due to personal problems but happy to see Bebe listed in top 5.

Yeah~ Joannie!!! I loved her performance!!!! And she's skating to my favorite music!!

Congratulations to ladies especially to Joanie and Na-young Kim! That lutz rocked!
