I'll be shocked if she were to leave Russia. Maybe she'll make my dream come true and join Plushy's Academy. She can hire Patrick Chan for her choreography and all will be right with the World. Eteri has too many baby Prima's right now and I feel like Med isn't getting enough attention from Eteri at this point.
Plushenko doesn't have any experience as a coach....

I surely did not expect this, especially after they denied so convinced the same rumours from March..
Well I guess now she has to make a very important decision ...On this decision will depend her entire future as a skater. Probably she needed something new, someone who can pay a closer attention to her, idk. 
I really hope they will make some comments soon and enlighten us with the reasons behind this change...

Same. Especially since Eteri is known to be inclined to spill the tea in interviews....
No way Evgenia is sticking around Sambo without Eteri unless she's just giving up entirely, which I doubt.

Exactly..I don't think they had a catastrophic fight or anything like that. Probably this comes exactly from Evgenia's ambitious and tenacious spirit...she knows that she must improve, and probably felt like she was kept in place under Eteri's wing. So she had to leave, for her future's sake.
I knew it would only be a matter of time before Evgenia goes pop with Eteri. Whatever the reason is for splitting must be pretty serious as she knows she will have much less Russian fed pcs backing if she is with a foreign coach. I think she's retiring to go pro. She's hugely famous at the moment, she could make a lot of money

Oh I'm sure she will.
But it is pretty much irrelevant. She cannot win this battle and actually her best course of action is to be quiet about it and to see if she can have an official amicable split from Zhenya where Zhenya also keeps her mouth shut. Eteri has had too many interviews, and too many hits with previous skaters, that she doesn't stand a chance if Zhenya opens her mouth.
I mean look at how this is even being handled. This broke on Match. The source is Zhenya's side, not RusFed. This girl is playing the game and playing it so well (or her agent really).
