As good as it was...I got the feeling Brian didn't skate to win. He skated not to lose. There was no fire there at all. His Cup of Russia performance was head and shoulders above this and not just because of the three quads he did that night. There just seemed to lack any fire that Brian normally brings to any skate.

Congratulations to him on a great Worlds. After all the problems he's had the last few years, Brian really does deserve this.
