For Ec The other score cam be nationals, qualification for nationals or any international ISU competition, but the other must be CS or GP. They must also take part in nationals if there is no acceptable reason like illness or injury. For worlds EC, of course, is counted but also other international competitions can replace CS or Gp. I don't know why the other scores must be GP or Cs. In juniors any international competition will be count, only the other one must be junior competition and other can be senior competition but -5 is decreased from seniors' competition.
Here is the list. Edit: It was already updated, but whoever has done it has forgotten Emmi took part in Autumn classic and has forgotten to list Emmi - or has forgot Autumn classic is CS competition. So Emmi is missing from the list, she should be there before Janna and Olivia. Usually it will be updated on Thuesdays or Wednesdays if there has been competitions where Finns take part in. Easy to guess but anyway: Kilpailu = competition, MM means worlds and EM means Euros. The other parts are in English. The seniors worlds list probably will appear there after Euros, so far nobody else than dancers, Milania/Filippo and in singles Janna and Olivia have all the minimums for WC. Makar and Oona need FS and Nella needs SP, others need both.
You can find that list here.
So Valtter can also be added back to GP substitute list as well. Makar is having a good season so far and he has more difficult lay-out than Valtter, so it is not easy to pass him, needs clean skates from Valtter. Maybe in pairs just did not work or maybe they gave up after seeing how much Milania/Filippo have developed and it is not easy to get EC or WC spots any more, and they would also need minimums in a short time. Valtter and other medalists from last season do not need qualifications, only if juniors turn to seniors or skaters change discipline, medalists must go through qualifications. Many skaters who already has secured their spot at national's final still take part in qualifications, skaters like it, it will be counted to two best scores and they can test their programs in front of national judge panel. I don't remember who has said it, but somebody said that many skaters persuade qualifications almost as much as nationals. I think it was some of our TV-commentators. And damn how good it was broadcasted. There was probably only one camera and sometimes the camera person lost the focus, but was very quick to take it back. And quality of the screen was good. I could not watch all time, watched a little bit of juniors too but whole day would have been too much, but it worked all the time.
I don't have favourite to any big competition, clear rules make it easy to say let's the best skaters get the spots.
