Yes, I was at the show tonight! :) It was great! :agree2: Patrick's new ex to "Oh What a Night" is much better live than it is on youtube. There's many details that are not evident in the videos - he's flirty, a nice guy with a bad boy vibe. :laugh: I see another aspect of Patrick that I had never seen before. I like it more than Sunday Morning (which was his second solo). Patrick's jumps were great, no mistakes. The only boo-boo was that his hat flew off during a spin. :laugh:

It was a good show and because it was such a small cast the show was the shortest ever and the cast had to skate more. Patrick was several numbers. In Vivley's link there's a picture with Patrick, Kurt, Elvis and Jeff with white hoodies and black pants with white stripes. Those stripes are actually lights and it was a very cool number as the lights were turned down to highlight the jumps and spins. Between Katelyn's and Patrick's second solos they did a short number together to the music from La-la Land.

The number you mentioned with the light up costumes is called "Bright Lights" and is skated by Jeremy Abbott, Adam Rippon, Ashley Wagner, and Gracie Gold on the US tour. The LaLa interlude is also done on US tour between Gracie and Adams programs, I'm sure Kaetlyn and Patrick probably do a better job with it though since Gracie acted beyond awkward in the US version while Adam was skating his heart out. :laugh:

LOL this is what happens when you hire the same choreo for both tours : recycling ;) so the USA tour has "Canadian numbers" ;)

How wonderful! Nice guy with a "bad boy" vibe, eh? Well, he's certainly expanded his repertoire and versatility as a skater and showman! :laugh::laugh::biggrin:

Yes, it was a bit cool yesterday. I'd like to know where the picture was taken but I can't find any identifiers. I was SO hoping he would be doing a wine promotion since his ice wine is now sold here now. I kept checking the LC website but no such luck, so sadly I did not get a chance to meet him this time. :( But I got to watch him skate again so no complaints here! :) :thumbsup:

SUCH FUN!!! :biggrin: Some people used to say Patrick had a stiff upper body when he skated. None of that here. Patrick was loose and gesturing to the audience and having a great time. Fancams are never as good as non-fancams, so I look forward to seeing an official video. I love the immediate hop out of the 2A and then how he turns on his knees. What a fantastic Ex!!! :luv17:

Can I just say the Color Block aka what the US tour is calling the "Saved By The Bell" costumes (from the 90s tv show) are tacky and fugly to say the least LOL!:eekn::laugh:

I believe in fair trade. For patrick, we would perhaps accept an american skater with 3 world championships amd 2 olympic silvers. Or, if that is not available , a group of skaters able to match that.

Glad you are getting the idea of Patrick's worth. However, unless you can provide an active skater with that pedigree, the trade is off. Keep in mind we have our share of legends already with kurt and elvis :)
 
Just got a call from the white house. Usa no longer wants our wood and has seen our conversation and put a stop on skater trading as well. Sorry but we keep Patrick.
