That interviewer was hilarious when Patrick gave her the skating lesson! :laugh2: I guess you know you're a diehard skating fan when those little things don't cause that kind of a reaction. ;) Patrick was a little bemused but so kind about it! :love: All of this was wonderful! :yes:

Kyrn23 has a lot of nice photos from the Toronto SOI, but her Twitter account is private, so other people can't see these photos unless they follow her.

It's also why I can't embed them on my fan site.

Oh I always love watching side by side jumps. Also, lol at Meagan's comment.

I am very happy that he's refusing to back down. Also, no matter what, even if adds another quad, his quality in skating will always be beautiful so he'll still be able to bring that something uniquely Patrick, no matter how technical he may need to be. As for adding another quad, does he mean the 4S on SP, the 4F or both? Is there any old footage of the 4F(s) he did in the past?
 
xeyra, I think Patrick is talking about a 4S in his new SP. 4F is, and has always been, a speculation and hope of some fans because his 3F is so beautiful and easy. No, there have never been his 4S or 4F practice videos even though their landings were mentioned by himself (4S) and by David Wilson (4F) because Patrick does not post practice videos. We have recently been treated to some because he has been training or practicing with other skaters who are more active in their social media.

Who knows, Patrick may still surprise us with a 4F by the Olympics. (Just a possibility. Not hoping/dreaming because it is OK with me one way or another. My wish is for him to have two perfect performances at the Olympics to the best of his skills.)
 
Patrick has no incentive to learn a new quad unless he wants to do 4 or 5 quads per lp. He has said that even 3 was not allowing as much skating. So, as much as i would love him to do a 4flip, i would be surprised if it happened. I guess he could ditch the 4s if the 4f revealed more stable but again, why? His 4s is so good and already stable after just one season.

Ah, maybe I misread the article. Adding the 4S to his SP might be the more accurate interpretation of "as he attempts to add another quad to his routine".

OMG... this is the best thing ever LOL i am doing my accounting right now before I meet my accountant LOL... yeah... some clean before the cleaning lady, i account before the accountant ;)


and well... i am crying of laughter so much while looking at my revenues..... changed the tears of sadness into happiness... Patrick is Magic
 
haha of course Patrick would pick that costume as a last choice ;) but me says : damn he looks hot in sparkles... i just don't want to see him wear feathers though
