I really liked how they put together this video essay. It was nice to see how they put together him being on the water and him being on the ice!

at the end of the day.. water and ice are the same things.... i love the poetic tone of that... very beautiful idea ....

...he looks distracted to me. I noticed that all the other competitors in that group were in their costumes and Patrick was still in his sweats. I wonder if they've been unsuccessful in finding his luggage.

I know the joke in the fanfest is that his costumes are so simple and interchangable but I would think his pants would be the most problematic because he needs pants that gives him the freedom to move.

Anyways I'm hoping that Patrick digs deep and use the "mayhem" around him to motivate. Remember how at SC'15 you just "turned your brain off". Go Patrick!!!

well i will be brief... because we have already seen it at onyx.. though this was obviously better....

i loved the program

i loved the costume

patrick's jumps reminded me of nationals..... little off.... but with all that happened to him, it's not unexpected.


What will I say though : like I said before... wanna have a perfect program??? then, it becomes a different mindset and it's tough.... very tough.... i find he puts a lot of pressure on himself with removing the 4s... also... the program was conceived for the 4s... the 3lutz was gorgeous but he had almost too much time to set it up here... as of course, for the 4s... he does need the time.

the speed he had though... OMG... that was amazing....

judging wise.... i am not sure he should be behind anybody in this competition when it comes to PCS... but he is.... even with the small mistakes, I thought he would win PCS... it's a very important thing to note here... without "enough" content or without a "100% clean " performance, he will lose out on PCS as well.. which is something we saw since his return to competition.

However, in the end, i will have to agree with him... the two songs he chose cannot afford falls... he needs to stay on his feet. So fine, I agree on why that decision was made....

PS i never made it to the grocery store... i am starving.... the store is closed now.. i will have to go get refreshments some other way....
