Ic3Rabbit, I love your less-is-more explanation of the beauty of Patrick's skating, so I'm bringing it here and to give you another :thumbsup:

Less is more with Chan's understated program. There are so many things that are done in those movements and edgework that speak for themselves to pros. Everything doesn't always have to be boom bash smash in your face and jump and kick all over the place to get the job done.

Now that I'm able to listen in on the k'n'c convo, Patrick says "for everything that's happened". So he was distracted earlier in the day. I'm glad he was able to let it go and turn in a performance that he's happy with!

ps I'm glad I was wrong in my costume prediction. I thought he would not have a new one.

I doubt he'll have two new ones. Maybe one but I think it's too early in the season for him to give his attention to costumes. So my answer is NO.

I wouldn't be surprised if for "Dust in the Wind" he repeats the ombre look of "Journey" using a different palette. Maybe throw in some sparkles for this one.

This was my post regarding the costumes. So I was both wrong and right.
I also made a prediction with the lp costume. We'll see how that turns out.

He looks so good in white.
I like it it's similar to his journey costume in simplicity but clean lines looks good on him.
That donut comparison on the side was funny
Strange that I liked it more cause it resembles my fave food

I thought his costume design was very clever. The way the black and white design was done around his shoulders made it look almost sparkly under certain lighting.

Fave parts: The last sequence from "Now, don't hang on....", and the way he smiled and blew kisses to the audience at the end. :thumbsup:
