I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if Samodelkina is born in February 2007 as Alex Rus wrote above, she won’t be senior eligible in the 2021-2022 season and therefore she can’t be on the podium in Beijing. The youngest age eligible for Beijing Olympics will be those born 30.6.2006. Anyone born after that will miss it.

The meaning is more 'she could be on the podium in Beijing because she has all the talent and ability to make it there, but she is too young'.

Hey AlexRus, do you have any information about dates of this competition? [emoji848] That's qualification for Russian Novice Nationals, right? And what is the age limit there? I expect to see at Moscow stage all three supernovas: Samodelkina, Akatieva, Berestovskaya. Will be interesting to look at their fight. For now it's 1-1 for each other. Both Berestovkaya and Samodelkina already beat Akatieva, and both times were third.
