Who are you excited to see on the GP?

All the front-runners but also:

Misha Ge
Michal Brezina
Brendan Kerry
Shoma Uno
Joshua Farris
Sergei Vornov
Shoma Uno

Rika Hongo
Evgenia (I don't know how to spell her name)
Serafima
Yuka Nagai
Mae Berenice Meite
Wakaba Higuchi

(I'm probably forgetting a lot of the girls here)

Yuzuru: will he be majorly inflated again?

And here I always thought he was pretty skinny

For the GPS: of course all my favorites, and mainly MAO, MAO is back, MAAAAOOOOOO!!!! :cheer::cheer::cheer:
It's great to have Kaetlyn and Adelina (hopefully) back. The upcoming juniors are exciting. The Chanyu battle of course (although I don't believe Yuzu will be in good shape already, so I expect Chan to win). And I'm just excited in general, because all the music choices/programs I saw from skaters I like looked great - might become a great season!

I'm excited to see the Juniors who will make their debut in the Senior GPs... Especially Shoma :cheer:
Also looking forward the come-backs, which ones will work, which won't.
Can the veterans face the new generation?
And can the dominating skaters of 2014-2015 confirm their place ?
This season is going to be so exciting

oh nice mentions I forgot

Mae Berenice & Kim/Minov are def on my list as well:cheer2:

+1 :slink:

Really? I love the manliness and maturity Ruslan showed in Carmen, exceptional. Great potential is there. I'm hopeful this year we'll get to see significant improvement and not too much unnecessary interference from their fed.

Are the new quad penalties justified the guys trying for 4L? I know Yuzu has done it on shows. How many quads are they allowed to do in FS?

I don't think there is a rule that limits the number of quads per FS, as long as they don't zayak. The limit is the skater's own endurance, I suppose. But I don't think we'll see a 4Lo or 4F in competition just yet.

Up to 8 if they repeat only two, I suppose. Maybe in the next century.

As HanDomi said, more guys are likely to try 4Lz than 4L, it seems.

Agree with everything you said, and I also sincerely hope everybody got that I meant scoring...he is rather wiry.

I'm excited to see everyone but if I have to narrow it down, I'd say. All the US and Japanese Men. All the US and Japanese Ladies. I know, not very narrow. Adelina, Tuk, and my new one to watch, Misha Ge. I hope he has a great season as I love his passion. Of course, when Patrick returns, I'll be half drunk on his Ice Wine and praying he has a successful come back. Lastly, that gorgeous girl Gabrielle Daleman.

I got it (and I'm sure everybody else too), I just couldn't resist ;) (hope you didn't feel offended, it was really just meant as a joke)

Well, Adam Rippon and Boyang Jin might/will likely go for the 4Lz, but that's about it too (or am I forgetting someone?). I guess most men won't go for the 4F because they generally have a better lutz than flip. And generally, the loop is considered more of a 'ladies' jump too, isn't it? We barely have any men going for 3-3Lo combinations. So I wouldn't exactly expect a 4Lo either, until Yuzuru or maybe Javier decide to go for it. (Or of course Kevin Reynolds manages to return completely healthy and good shape, best whishes to him!)

Yuzu has no plans to add 4Lo. Just 4S, 4T, and 4T+2Tx.

I just wanted to tell you how much I love that picture of Scott. It cracks me up every time I see it.
For those who are old enough to remember this phrase.

"What you talkin' bout Willis?"

That's what I think of when I see that pic.

Yes, this season, but there are 2 more seasons after that ;)
(not saying I think/hope he should, but he's been trying it in galas/shows pretty stubbornly, and I'm getting a certain feeling from that...)

She tried the 3 Axel? Are there any videos?

There are of the jump competition.

I did not see the short, but did see the long. The 3A attempt was about the same, but the rest of the program had issues. I am worried about her. Frankly saying it was "just like nationals" is really downplaying what happened. I am hoping she just over did it that week, and now just needs to learn her 3A limits. She did look very much like this was something she wanted to do for herself though, she had fire in her eyes.
