Irina
Ya know, since Irina came back the way she did from her initial bout of vasculitis to become world champion in 2005, win two GP events in 2005, silver at the 2005 GPF and bronze at 2006 Olympics, I am not willing to count her out of anything. What an amazing comeback!
Sp right now, she doesn't want to compete, and I think her conditioning is fine for her current schedule of doing shows and exhibition numbers. I think her weight is fine too. I believe if Ira wants to compete again, she has the ability to train back to a level where she would be able to win GP events again, maybe even another world championship. After all, she has done it once already. And if she wants to continue to do shows and exhibitions and enjoy a less intense training schedule, she certainly deserves it.
BTW - I love her longer hair in that gypsy number.
