Next men practice won't be at the main rink so normal spectators can not watch. I am sorry.
But I am very happy I saw him today. I missed seeing him skate live. The sound of his blades is my favourite. I am watching Javi, Jason and Nathan right now and I like them too, but nothing can top Patrick. It was worth it, totally

Thank you Krunchii for the video! He's looking good and I'm so in love with this program! He doesn't have to do the jumps for me to be happy with his skating, as I love the edge quality and the fantastic carriage movement along the ice.

In reference to what Kuan was saying, I have found that marking the jumps takes more steam out of a skater than doing the jumps, at least that was my own personal experience. I always hated marking jumps.

Yesterday there were some videos from Weibo, I believe, from the practice rink. So maybe there'll be some today too and hopefully one might be Patrick's. Jackie Wong is also live-tweeting some of those closed practices, so we might get some info. Starting tomorrow, ISU should have a livestream up for practices in the practice rink.

Edit: Though it's been brought to my attention elsewhere that there's been no confirmation yet that the official practice livestream will cover the practice rink. Crossing my fingers.

so he does confirm that the new layout allows Patrick to use the rink length wise for his 4s, as opposed to width wise... I think that will help

this GIF is Patrick's CannonBall 3A from Nationals... It went so high I thought Han Yan was in the building. Seriously, I am loving Patrick's work on his 3A and his retrieved confidence in a jump that was stable a while back for him. So happy it's "back in town"

Often, when acquiring new technical elements, others will feel easier. I have a feeling that working on the 4S has helped in that sense for the 3A

Patrick has always loved 3A but it somehow became a "bad girlfriend" in a love-hate relationship. I now see and celebrate this romance soaring into new height! And he's also building a strong relationship with a new buddy the 4S. :yes:

I was on the ice.... learning new quads... ( I have never skated).... and just like that, I landed the 4Lz, the 4S and the 4poopyloopy

1) see Patrick compete
2) see northern lights...

1) got completed at Nationals....

Thank you, Skatingfan4ever for using the avatar. Yesterday, I had a vision of Patrick in front of the northern lights and I came up with this graphic. I've only had chiddy chanda for a few days so I requested that Skatingfan4ever use it as an avatar since worlds is being held in Helsinki. Thanks.

Thanks to Vivley for updating your blog with the practice pictures. I remembered the ones of 4cc, they showed a relaxed, sometimes smiling Patrick. So far, the pictures that have emerged at the worlds shows a more serious, intense, but not worried Patrick. I think he's focused! :agree:
