Compare it to her performance at Nebelhorn and it was much better, artistically and obviously, technically. But I still think this competition is hers to lose. The only one who could challenge her here in case of a meltdown already had a meltdown herself so...
Also, doesn't Alina kind of has a tendency to not have perfect SPs in the beginning of the season? She takes a while to grow into her programs. I'm looking forward for the Free Skate tomorrow, it will be exciting!
But her performance is endearing nonetheless, she did really well here.
She skated as well as she could I think.

Agreed. Kaori was actually lucky she got the score she did.If Zagitova's PCS were too high, Kaori's too. Two serious mistakes and she
's just one point lower than at SC where she was clean.

This GP season is a gift that keeps giving... One surprise after another... Alina is lucky she got that SP score with the mistake she had, the PCS are crazy. She didn’t feel her usual self when starting the program and almost looked distressed or really nervous.
i blame them for the curse!Alina’s score was ridiculous
Not really. Everything else in her program has such good quality, and her PCS was pretty low compared to normal, because of the error.

I think she had more or less the same PCS at Nebelhorn and there she was clean. And it is well known that Challengers are usually overscored.

You’re welcome to back up your opinion with evidence and analysis, but if you won’t, perhaps give it a rest? Daria was fine. She received a score that was in no way outrageous. Let it go.
Also, if Kaori really is injured I hope she & her team take it seriously. Concussions aren't something you should ignore, and she still has the rest of the season to tear it up.Calling following statement "I have nothing against Daria, but that was not a programme or a performance. At most, it was a series of elements that had no relationship to each other" just pure subjective opinion does not require an analysis. I wonder how such "analysis" should even look like.
