I'm just now starting to branch out more in watching international - mostly because I've seen absolutely everything in Russia. So, some of these girls you guys have loved I'm not well acquainted with.

But, so far, I'm REALLY impressed by them. Much better than the short program, by the way. They went up a level over night certainly.

Not including what I've learned from yesterday's short and Skate America - Kaori and Rino. Probably because the Japanese and Russian scene are quite friendly.

But, after yesterday I became a big fan of Kim. Which is no surprise because I always enjoyed Koreans a lot after the Russians - the essence of the cultures actually have a lot of similarity, and the scene are also relatively friendly and intermingled.

What do you know about her character what we don't?

The dress is unique, fits that she seems like a quirky person to me. Her first hobby listed in the official ISU bio is "collecting goods of Bathynomus giganteus"

And, her past programs also had this certain kind of "intensity" to it - this dress works really well for her as to me she's never the "generically pretty" skater out there.

Lindsay is not very consistent, but she's a very talented skater. not a fan of Starr skating but she know how to sell her qualities

Well certainly based off this event I will continue to follow closely, though Skate America didnt impress me as much ( I did like Amber's SP), I'm glad I gave the scene another chance with this event - super impressive skating here today.

Starr had another heart surgery over the summer so I cannot believe how well she is skating after all she has been through. She is also a multi-talented queen (her voice is divine) and that dress is *chef's kiss*. Also GIANT STUFFIE ALERT!
