Please, don't anybody ever throw Tribbles to the skaters!
We've seen the trouble they caused on the Enterprise. Imagine what they would do at an ice rink!

Just rewatched this horror:
Amber:Wow.Keep her nerves after mistake yesterday.It's really good to see.Watching her 3 years now and she shows that age means nothing.She perfect her 3A to land it everytime.Worked on her stamina and mental.Proffesional on the highest level.
Mone:Mone keep her zone stage,but something breaks in the most unexpected moment.Such a terrible moment for mistake,because she would win this without this mistake.Anyway she may be best skater this Grand Prix for now.Her jumps are much better than everyone and she posessed choreo skills as well.Keep it for finals please.
Chaeyeon:She did it.Super adaptation on that 3L fluke.Finally performance on her level.Amazing skill set.That was also first time she wasn't looking lazy.That Stsq was brilliant.Shame she had to messed up her first GP and now she will miss Finals
Rion: That's not like her.So many mistake.Probably pressure get to her.Sad too see it.
Rinka:I completely forgot she has 3A and was surprised she just throw it and land.If only not the later mistakes it would be great.Overall love her this season.Magnificent programs for her.First time liking her so much.
Kimmy:Solid skate.Finally good both performances from her even tho could start better

Summary:Amazing short and free to watch,because there were a lot in stakes.
Some did what they could,some manage to lost composure,but overall great to watch.
Onto Grand Prix Final with Japanese Merchant fighting one American Goliat.

I just caught up with the rest of the free skates, and my oh my~ 
Amber!!! This is the first time I saw her landing all 3 combos including the 3-jumps combo. I'm so so happy to see her finally defeating her free skates demon Congrats on the win!!
Mone, oh dear! I was sure she was going to beat Amber until that fluke fall in the steps. Looks to me she got too excited after landing all her jumps and got into the jive too much
This will be a good learning experience for her, and she's through to the final!
Congrats Chaeyeon on finally getting a medal for the Korean women. Love her quick thinking and fighting determination to do all her high-value combos
And, as a result of all this.......
MY BABY RINO IS IN GPF!!!!!! She sooooo deserves it after all the injury and illness struggles she's been through. I hope she keeps building her confidence, don't pressure herself too much and can perform freely in the final

Caught up in the small hours, but was too exhausted to post. What an epic women's FS! Thrilled for Amber. She was masterful! I didn't have to hold my breath and knew she would be fine. She has come such a long way! Mone's fall was so unexpected, but she carried on as if nothing had happened, like a pro. This music feels more naturally her than the SP. Happy for Chaeyeon, who performed so strongly after a few struggles in the previous comp. Gutted for Rion, but it wasn't her day. All in all a very satisfactory event, wish I could have watched it live.
After the journey that we've been on I couldn't helped but be thrilled for Amber. I hope she can remember that program whenever she is down on herself. Mone has two of the best programs and packaging of the season. A shame about that fall, but I can't wait to see her at the GPF. I also really enjoyed Kimmy's program. Love the way she is owning her long lines.

Was watching it now because the time difference is extreme .
Kimmie Repond FS is very nice and for me is ideal because she also shown her aptitude as actress because gave expression to Gladiator theme and for me is a meaningful FS and i enjoyed a lot watch her FS
Madeline Schizas was great i seen her FS now and paid more attention and is exquisite her Danse Macabre music ,technically is nice maybe needs dare more technically talking but is ok.
Amber Glenn it was beautiful and have more technical richness ,she expressed the theme idea but i expected more in that area but technically was beautiful .
Mone Chiba was great and was a classical selection very well chosen , well the fall in the step sequence was the unique issue but she could manage very well and was nice , her dress it reminds me to Kitri from Don Quixote for a moment thought that could be that theme
Rinka Watanabe was ok , her tango theme i wonder if really is tango or neo tango but for me neo tango isn't tango really and well it was disappointment some falls from her
Rion Sumiyoshi it could be a great program and stay in the first places ,her music is from Adiemus and allow a lot of expression and even act for help to get more involved with the theme .is a nice choice and is rich rhythmically (last time i heard on a figure skating program was from an ice dancers in 2009 or 2008 but i don't remind who was maybe was OD or FD of Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir ) ,for me is very interesting in spite of such tech. errors.

This was a great competition. Mone and Amber were fantastic, very different in style, but both had capticating skates. Mone was on her way to beating a clean Amber who had a 3A before that freak fall on the step sequence, she was that good. Still, she got the final deservedly and can redeem herself there.
Chaeyeon was alos really good and is unlucky not to make the final.

Wow! I didn't know that! I didn't watch figure skating at that point.
