Very smart decision to not go for a quad and instead focus on skating clean, like this she'll at least have a very good chance of making the National team.
If there are sizable errors from skaters ahead of her, she even could still medal.

It was a right decision strategically. It was obvious she's still not in a best shape, so the goal was not a podium exactly, but to stay in a national team and buy more time for the next season.
